In 2020 the second "Freiburg Symposium on Extracorporeal Life Support“ will take place on Nov 19-20 - save the date!   Internationally renowned speakers will discuss the latest trends and developments of ECMO therapy, including Prof. Jean-Louis Vincent and Prof. Béla Merkely.

CRC 1425 approved  

Together with Thomas Nührenberg, Bad Krozingen, we will investigate heterocellular interactions of platelets in myocardial reperfusion injury as part of the newly funded CRC 1425, starting in July 2020.  We are currently recruiting 1 PhD student; more details can be found on the CRC website: https://www.sfb1425.uni-freiburg.de
