Robin Moss, MSc

Doctoral researcher (Computational Modelling)
  • Electro-mechanical coupling
  • Tension modelling of cardiomyocytes
  • Generation of realistic structural meshes to be used in finite element simulations
  • Parameter adaptation in electrophysiological models of cardiomyocytes to mutations of ion channels

Robin Moss received his Master of Science in electrical engineering and information technology from KIT (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology) in 2015. After finishing his Master's thesis on the 'Effects of the Long-QT-Syndrome on the Mechanical Deformation in a Computational Rabbit Model' at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering (KIT), he took the opportunity to join the IEKM in Freiburg as a PhD student in the Computational Modelling section in 2016.
